I got 99 problems and rust is like, 3/4 of them. Followed by not having enough bolts, followed by the engine heads not being ready yet.

Rust is the devil. If a genie gave me three wishes one of them would be to make all cars, and car parts impervious to rust.

Oh yeah I got some rust to tackle too. After I figure out what the hell is causing that knocking, and then fix the check engine. I think since I did front and rear struts I am down to 97 problems though.

This stuff is used on aircraft frames. It's f*ing fantastic on vehicles.

Wherever I have a bit of rust showing, I sprayed it on. I lined the inside of my doors in it, and filled every little nook and cranny of my jeep.

Holds up against some nasty weather.

Looks like earwax though.

My car has spent all of its life in coastal New England. Even the simplest jobs require an hours more work than you think they would, because all the bolts and screws strip the moment you touch a tool to them. I've become a master at using these:
